Normally, if you equip an NPC with Mk2 weapons and Mk2 ammunition, they behave like normal bullets. This mod simulates all Mk2 ammunition effects in the game, including:
- Hollow Point (double damage to health, except armor)
- Armor Piercing (damage is converted to health; armor takes an additional 1/5 damage and does not increase damage if armor is insufficient)
- Explosive (explodes on impact)
- Incendiary (chance to set peds on fire; deals 90% of the original damage)
- Full Metal Jacket (double damage to vehicles; penetrates vehicle objects such as bulletproof windows and cover)
- Tracer (reduces tracer visibility on bullets; usually does not require any modding)
- Supports addons
- Introduces headshot simulation: Multiplies damage by 1000× when hitting the head. True headshots are not possible, so it only approximates the effect. Does not apply to explosive rounds.
