iFruit Jailbreak is a ScriptHookVDotNet library for GTA V that injects custom contacts, phone numbers, SMS messages, and emails directly into the player's in-game cellphone through low-level manipulation of the game's global variable memory.
GTA V's cellphone-related scripts ("cellphone_controller", "appcontacts", and "cellphone_flashhand") store their data in global variable arrays, including the phonebook, SMS inbox, email inbox, and character information. iFruit Jailbreak writes directly to these arrays and updates the same internal flags that the game's native scripts monitor every frame. As a result, the injected data is processed exactly as if it had been generated by the game itself.
For messages, the experience is virtually indistinguishable from native GTA V functionality, featuring:
- Native notification styling and colors;
- Proper character portrait/icon rendering;
- SMS and email notification sounds;
- Gamepad vibration for SMS notifications;
- Inbox persistence across game sessions and frames.
For contacts, the library goes even further. Since the phonebook, DIALING screen, and call interface are rendered by the game's native scripts using character-sheet fields that resolve only to GXT text labels, arbitrary custom names cannot normally be displayed. To overcome this limitation, iFruit Jailbreak redraws the relevant Scaleform elements itself, allowing contacts to display fully custom names and icons. It also hooks into the phone's call state machine, making custom contacts behave exactly like native in-game contacts during phone calls.
Features:
Messaging:
- Send SMS messages from any built-in GTA V character or company.
- Send email notifications with a custom sender, subject, and message body.
- Inject emails into each character's inbox with full persistence.
- Delete injected SMS messages by their slot ID.
- Safely split long messages across multiple entries (up to 3 × 63 UTF-8 bytes).
Contacts:
- Add phonebook contacts with fully custom names (of virtually any visible length) and custom icons.
- Choose from over 230 built-in character icons using "appContacts.ContactIcon".
- Control a contact's alphabetical position using a custom sort key.
- Detect when the player calls a custom contact, keep the call connected, and end it programmatically.
- Remove contacts by their slot ID.
- Fully survives ScriptHookVDotNet reloads without leaving behind broken or "ghost" contacts.
Phone Numbers:
- Register custom phone numbers that the player can dial directly from the keypad.
- Display custom names and icons on both the DIALING and active call screens, just like native contacts.
- Detect when the player dials a registered number, keep the call connected, and end it from script.
- Phone numbers do not consume contact slots, allowing unlimited custom numbers without reducing the available contact pool.
Requirements:
- ScriptHookVDotNet Nightly Build
- GTA V Legacy (1.50 - 1.73) or GTA V Enhanced (1.72-1.73).
