Nissan Leopard second generation debuted in February, 1986, and is available only in the version of the Coupe. About 5000 cars (about half of which are remade in convertibles firm ASC) had been imported from United States, and with the launch of Infiniti brand in November 1989 Leopard in America began to sell as the Infiniti M30. The car shared a platform with the Nissan Skyline R31 Nissan Cefiro A31 and the Nissan Laurel C32 to reduce development costs.
