Auto, consisting usually of the towing vehicle and two trailers, was intended for use in exhibition complexes, parks and at airports. The first copies appeared in 1959, based on RAF-977, and its serial production began in 1960 at RAF-977V. And even after the transfer of production of a basic model in 1961, the new production site on Duntes street road trains continued to gather at the old place, and their appearance continued to meet the RAF-977V, rather than 977D.
