Mazda RX-7 is a sports car produced by the Japanese automaker Mazda from 1978 to 2002 year. The original RX-7 was powered by a rotary-piston engine and had the front srednemotornuû, rear-wheel-drive layout. RX-7 replaced the RX-3 (both sold in Japan badged Savanna), superseding all other Rotary Mazda cars except for Cosmo.

Silvia S13 enjoyed enormous popularity in Japan. At the same time, the name "Sylvia" ceased to be used in export models, for example in Europe it was known under the name Nissan 200SX. In North America, Silvia S13 was known as the Nissan 240SX. The name Nissan 200SX was also used on the coupe version of the Nissan Sentra B14.
