Steyr AUG (Armee Universal Gewehr-army universal rifle) is a complex of small arms, released in 1977 by the Austrian company Steyr-Daimler-Puch. Adopted by such countries as Austria, New Zealand, Luxembourg and Ireland. Australia rifle produced under licence under the brand name F88. Has interchangeable barrels of different lengths: 508 mm and 350 mm barrels shortened and 407 mm and the heavy barrel 621 mm.
This rifle uses a layout drawing of the "Bullpup" that store and release the node handles are located behind the trigger and fire control. There are two modes of fire: fire single shots and automatic fire. It is also possible to upgrade to fire single and with in 3 shots.
