The first translation of GTA 3 from company Fargus. Familiarity with it happened in 2002. Translation slightly "spent", but executed very tastefully. Fonts, though different from the original, but look quite naturally in the style of the game. This translation had three Baga: 1) pager Font has not been localized, although game texts translated, as a result of the pager displays something like "0fhemet d ctabveh b jsegnue" 2) due to a strange error in the gxt-file game crash when you see the pager upon return Staunton island after the mission "Sayonara, Salvatore" 3) after completing this phase of the game, for example, through the English version, completely lacked subtitles in telephone missions from King Kortney. The translation itself was originally installed on top of the English version of the game, without replacing the original files, but to launch a Russian version required a separate .exe file with the edited table characters. In this fashion presented original translation with my corrections: 1) font pager is localized according to the "encoding", so all the text becomes difficult to read. The text itself has not been edited. 2) Subject YD_P entry in the gtx-file fixed, the game no longer crashes and text pager is displayed correctly in this phase of the game. 3) as a result of the previous patch, all further sections are read correctly and subtitles in missions from King Kortney work fine. Translation now is put with the replacement of the original files. Additional .exe file is not required. Thanks to the wonderful plugin "IIIFontSize.asi" from Dimzet, GTA 3 now can read the external symbol table from file fonts.dat, similar to the San Andreas, that radically simplifies the installation of any translations to these versions! P.s. 1. We strongly recommend that you use the gta3.exe version 1.0 2. For the operation of the plugin IIIFontSize.asi needs Ultimate ASI Loader.
