RAF-22038 "Latvia" - probably the last modification of the minibus of the Riga Bus Factory, which was supplied for the needs of the Soviet police. After the collapse of the USSR, minibuses from this factory stopped being purchased.
The RAF-22038 was produced from 1987 to 1997 and is a slightly modified version of the RAF-22036 minibus.
It was almost never used by the police, mainly purchased to replace the outdated RAF-2203, which began to be produced in 1976. The scope of application remained the same-diagnostic stations of the traffic police, forensic laboratories, in addition, were used to transport police officers.
