Buses Laz-697E Edition 1961-1963 period did not differ in appearance from the similar buses Laz-697 of the same period, but from the beginning of the year 1964 all Lviv buses got round the wheel arch, and directly with the tourist disappeared modifications flowing moldings on the bodywork. Thus, buses Laz-697E Edition 1964-1969 years looked much sovremenee to their predecessors and easily recognized externally. In the year 1969 bus Laz-697E succeeded in producing bus Laz-697M.
