Mercenaries is perhaps the most enigmatic Zone grouping, in which many of them do not believe. Fighters of the groups perfectly trained and armed. Aggressive towards other stalkers, because of the desire to go unnoticed and remove unwanted witnesses.

Sergeant Plichko is a fictional character in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, the Commander of the checkpoint on the basis of "duty". Its task is not to Miss anyone, except "dolgovcev" headquarters, barracks and warehouse group. The exceptions are the only stalkers, who received a pass from command. Plichko is similar to its appearance, Kitzenko armor, weapons, and title.
