The shooter (aka the Marked One) is the protagonist of "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl", the antagonist of "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky", as well as the plot quest character "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: The Call of Pripyat". Stalker is a legend. It was he who got closest to the mystery of the origin of the Zone. The shooter was a well-known pioneer stalker who made his way deep into the Zone several times, which caused global cataclysms. He is also known by the nickname Marked, which Sidorovich gave him, because of the characteristic tattoo on his arm.
